Rep. Sam Park Re-Elected House Minority Whip

ATLANTA – The Georgia House Democratic Caucus re-elected Minority Whip Sam Park (D-Lawrenceville) to serve as the House Minority Whip for the 2025-2026 legislative term.

“I’m thankful for the trust and support of my colleagues, and I look forward to serving a second term as the Minority Whip,” said Minority Whip Park. “We worked tirelessly during the last legislative session to defend Georgians’ freedoms, and we will work tirelessly again to defend our rights and protect our livelihoods. We have an opportunity to turn the page for Georgia and continue the hard work of building a better Georgia that expands access to good jobs, quality healthcare, affordable housing and a world class education.”

Minority Whip Sam Park (D-Lawrenceville) is responsible for monitoring legislation as it moves through both chambers of the General Assembly and helping the members of the Minority Caucus better understand the details of bills and resolutions.

This is Minority Whip Park’s fifth term in the Georgia House of Representatives and his second term as the Minority Whip.

Representative Sam Park currently represents the citizens of District 107, which includes portions of Gwinnett County. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 and currently serves as the House Minority Caucus Whip. He also serves on the Ethics, Industry and Labor, Intragovernmental Coordination, Small Business Development, Technology and Infrastructure Innovation and Higher Education committees and is an Ex-Officio member of the Rules Committee.
