ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments recently named State Representative Clint Crowe (R-Jackson) as the Chairman of the House Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee.

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
The House Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee handles legislation pertaining to law enforcement and safety issues facing Georgia.

Representative Clint Crowe represents the citizens of District 118, which includes Butts County, as well as portions of Monroe and Newton counties. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2020 and currently serves as Chairman of the Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee. He also serves on the Banks and Banking, Judiciary Non-Civil, State Planning and Community Affairs, Technology and Infrastructure Innovation and Ways and Means committees.
