ATLANTA – State Representative Imani Barnes (D-Tucker) will hold a press conference on the Healthy Start Act on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 12:15 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
The Healthy Start Act, House Bill 60, would allow the State Board of Education to determine the amount of state funds needed to provide a no-cost, state-wide school lunch program for students eligible under federal and state guidelines.
