ATLANTA – State Representative Floyd Griffin (D-Milledgeville) recently announced the opening of his district office in Milledgeville.
“When I ran for state office, one of my promises to the constituents of House District 149 was to open a district office with the goal of helping people in the community,” said Rep. Griffin. “It is important for community members’ voices to be heard, and the goal of this office is to serve as a direct line between constituents and their elected representatives. In every community, there is a need for guidance in navigating state and federal resources, and this office will help ensure that District 149 residents have support to access those resources effectively. Representative Floyd Griffin represents the citizens of District 149, which includes portions of Baldwin, Bibb and Jones counties. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2024 and currently serves on the Defense & Veterans Affairs, Special Rules and State Planning & Community Affairs committees.
