ATLANTA – State Representative Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) was recently appointed by Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) to serve as the vice chair of the House Study Committee on Georgia’s Investment Funds.

“I’m grateful to my House colleagues for their bipartisan support of my legislation, HR 557, to create this Study Committee on Georgia’s Investment Funds,” said Rep. Kendrick. “I am also thankful to Speaker Burns for his trust in me to serve as vice chair of the study committee. Building on the work of the Invest Georgia program, the committee will work toward increasing investing opportunities in our great state and expanding on our work to make Georgia a hub for investors and growth capital.”
