ATLANTA – State Representative Carl Gilliard (D-Savannah), in partnership with the Chatham County Gang Prevention and Intervention Commission—established through House Bill 750 during the 2021 legislative session—will launch the “Campaign 4 Life” initiative at a commission meeting on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Empowerment Center in Garden City, Georgia.
The “Campaign 4 Life” initiative is aimed at preventing violence and breaking the cycle of gang involvement in Chatham County.

Representative Carl Gilliard represents the citizens of District 162, which includes a portion of Chatham County. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 and currently serves as Secretary of the Creative Arts & Entertainment.
