ATLANTA – The House Study Committee on Funding for Next Generation 9-1-1, chaired by State Representative Chuck Martin (R-Alpharetta), will hold its second meeting on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Central Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Established by House Resolution 429, this study committee will conduct a comprehensive review of the state’s current 9-1-1 funding provisions. The committee will also study and identify any reforms necessary to provide adequate and sustainable funding to support the transition from legacy 9-1-1 centers to modern Next Generation 9-1-1 centers in a manner that will ensure that their current and future operations can be fully realized in Georgia.
