ATLANTA – Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) named State Representative Jesse Petrea (R-Savannah) to the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health for the 2017-2018 legislative term.
“I am honored to be appointed to the Appropriations Committee and moreover to the Subcommittee on Health,” said Rep. Petrea. “This position will allow me to best represent the people of my district as we craft a new Georgia way of providing healthcare to our citizens in the post Obamacare world.”
Rep. Petrea will also serve as a member on the Health & Human Services, Human Relations & Aging, and Public Safety & Homeland Security committees.

Representative Jesse Petrea represents the citizens of District 166, which includes portions of Bryan and Chatham counties. He was elected into the House of Representatives in 2014, and currently serves on Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and the Health & Human Services, Human Relations & Aging, and Public Safety & Homeland Security committees.
