ATLANTA – State Representative Jimmy Pruett (R-Eastman) was recently named as the most effective legislator in an article published by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. This ranking was determined by the percentage of bills that have passed both the House and Senate.
“I feel very blessed to have had so much support from my colleagues in the General Assembly throughout my eight years of service in the House as these bills have gone through the legislative process,” said Rep. Pruett. “It has been rewarding to see these bills become law and witness their positive impacts on the state of Georgia.”
According to the AJC article, 71 percent of Rep. Pruett’s bills have cleared the Georgia legislature since he joined the House in 2007. He has the highest average among House of Representative Members who have submitted at least 30 bills since 2001.
