ATLANTA – State Representative Rick Jasperse (R-Jasper), chairman of the House Transportation Committee, and Senate Majority Leader Steve Gooch (R-Dahlonega) today announced that Highway 52 in Gilmer County will be dedicated in honor of the late House Speaker David Ralston on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Oakland Community House on Highway 52.

Rep. Matt Reeves Celebrates Signing of Professional Licensing Overhaul Legislation into Law

ATLANTA – State Representative Matt Reeves (R-Duluth) today applauds Governor Kemp for signing House Bill 579 into law. Rep. Reeves sponsored this legislation to overhaul Georgia’s professional licensing practices and joined Gov. Kemp at the State Capitol today as the bill was signed into law.

Blank Family Foundation, the Atlanta Falcons, representatives from the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) and State Representative Brent Cox (R-Dawsonville) will hold a press conference encouraging Georgia high schools to establish flag football teams on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
