Representative Carl Gillard Announces ‘Increase the Peace Tour’ Events Presented by CCGPIC and the City of Savannah

ATLANTA – State Representative Carl Gillard (D–Savannah) announces the launch of the five-stop “Increase the Peace Tour,” organized by the Chatham County Gang Prevention and Intervention Commission (CCGPIC) and the City of Savannah Recreation and Leisure Services Department. Chairman Chuck Martin Applauds Signing of Legislation to Codify Georgia DREAMS Need-Based Scholarship into Law

ATLANTA – State Representative Chuck Martin (R-Alpharetta), chairman of the House Higher Education Committee, applauds Governor Brian Kemp for signing Senate Bill 556, legislation that codifies the Georgia Dedicating Resources to Educationally Advance More Students (DREAMS) scholarship program under the Georgia Student Finance Commission. The bill also incorporates several other measures aimed at expanding access to higher education, strengthening workforce development and enhancing student financial aid programs across Georgia.
