ATLANTA – Today, in Forsyth, Ga., State Representative Devan Seabaugh (R-Marietta) stood alongside Governor Brian Kemp as he signed House Bill 451 into law. This bill, sponsored by Rep. Seabaugh, a licensed paramedic, extends supplemental insurance coverage to first responders diagnosed with occupational post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Speaker Jon Burns Announces Kayla Roberson as Communications Director

Rep. Marcus Wiedower Announces Extended Booking Window for Georgia Residents at State Parks

ATLANTA – State Representative Marcus Wiedower (R-Watkinsville), chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government, announces that Georgia residents will now have an extended booking window of 14 months in advance for accommodations at sites operated by Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites. This initiative, championed by Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Chairman Wiedower, allows local residents to book one month earlier than out-of-state visitors, providing them with greater flexibility and convenience in planning their outdoor adventures.
