ATLANTA – State Representative Dar’shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) recently participated in TechNet’s 2019 State Policy Conference and served as a panel judge during a pitch competition panel. Rep. Kendrick was the only Georgia legislator invited and one of only 20 legislators from 13 states who participated in this annual conference, which took place November 13-15 in Austin, Texas. Rep. Ballinger Receives Judge Martha K. Glaze Service Award from Council of Juvenile Court Judges of Georgia

ATLANTA – State Representative Mandi Ballinger (R-Canton), chairman of the House Juvenile Justice Committee, recently received the Judge Martha K. Glaze Service Award from the Council of Juvenile Court Judges of Georgia (CJCJ). Juvenile Court Judge Jan Wheeler presented the award to Rep. Georgia Legislative Black Caucus Announces Partnership with Ohio River South

ATLANTA –The Georgia Legislative Black Caucus (GLBC), chaired by State Representative Karen Bennett (D-Stone Mountain), today announced a new partnership with Ohio River South, a regionally-focused, minority-owned public affairs firm. House and Senate Natural Resources & Environment Committees Participate in Environmental Policy Academy in Coastal Georgia

ATLANTA – State Representative Lynn Smith (R-Newnan) and State Senator Tyler Harper (R-Ocilla), along with members of the House and Senate Natural Resources and Environment committees, participated in the Carl Vinson Institute of Government’s Legislative Environmental Policy Academy to strengthen their understanding of key environmental issues facing Georgia’s coast.
