ATLANTA – State Representative Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates) recently completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program. This three-week Executive Education program, offered at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, focused on the development of conceptual frameworks for addressing policy issues, explored the relationship between citizens and their government, and examined the ethical and professional responsibilities of leadership. Georgia Chamber Awards Rep. Mark Hamilton with ‘A’ for 2011 Session

ATLANTA – State Representative Mark Hamilton (R-Cumming) has earned an ‘A’ grade from the Georgia Chamber of Commerce for his strong support of the state’s business community during the 2011 legislative session. The Chamber released its first true legislative scorecard for the 2011-2012 General Assembly, which includes midterm grades for state House and Senate members based upon their votes on legislation deemed important to economic growth and job creation.
