Bill to Provide Insurance Coverage to Firefighters Receives Final Passage
ATLANTA — The Georgia General Assembly today gave final passage to House Bill 146, sponsored by State Representative Micah Gravley (R-Douglasville). HB 146 would require fire departments to provide adequate insurance coverage for firefighters who have been diagnosed with cancer and will now go to Governor Deal for consideration.
