The DeKalb County House and Senate Legislative Delegation invites constituents, along with their families, friends and neighbors, to join in celebrating the establishment of a dedicated space where community members could conveniently access their state legislators and a range of services. From personal assistance to district information, seminars, state resources and more, the DeKalb State House and Senate Delegation Constituent Services Office would aim to provide a comprehensive and accessible platform for citizens to engage with their elected representatives.
“Today marks a historic moment as we open the doors of the DeKalb County House and Senate Constituent Services Office at the New Black Wall Street,” said State Representative Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates), Dekalb House Delegation Chair. “As Chair of the DeKalb House Delegation, I am honored to pioneer this initiative, paving a path never before traveled in our county’s history. Let this be a beacon of accessibility, advocacy, and empowerment for all our constituents. Together, we embark on a journey of service, solidarity, and progress.”
“We are excited to open the doors of our new Constituent Services Office to the residents of DeKalb County,” said Rep. Davis, DeKalb House Delegation Vice Chair. “This office represents our commitment to serving the needs of our community and providing a centralized hub for constituents to voice their concerns, seek assistance and access valuable resources. We encourage all members of the community to join us for this special occasion. Together, we can foster greater collaboration, understanding and progress for the benefit of DeKalb County and its residents.”
“This opening has been a two-year initiative and I am so thrilled to have been a part of bringing it to fruition,” said State Representative Rhonda Taylor (D-Conyers). “Constituents will have direct access to those who represent them in DeKalb and obtain much needed resources. This opens the door for even more community engagement and will better aid in providing services. I can’t wait to see the office full of citizens benefiting from this remarkable opportunity in collaboration with The New Black Wall Street.”
The grand opening event promises an evening of celebration, community spirit and opportunities to connect with fellow constituents and elected officials.
