ATLANTA – The House Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment Committee, chaired by State Representative Bonnie Rich (R-Suwanee), and the Senate Reapportionment and Redistricting Committee, chaired by State Senator John F. Kennedy (R-Macon), will hold its next series of joint town hall hearings across the state of Georgia. The schedule for the next three in-person hearings is as follows:
- Monday, June 28, 2021, from 5 – 7 p.m. in room 341 of the State Capitol;
- Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 5 – 7 p.m. at South Forsyth High School (Cafeteria) in Cumming;
- Wednesday, June 30, 2021, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Gignilliat Hall at Dalton State College.
During each town hall-style hearing, members of the committees will hear and receive input from residents regarding the state’s redistricting process.
Members of the public are invited to speak in person and can sign up to speak at the meeting location starting at 4:30 p.m. outside the meeting room. Testimony should be between 2-5 minutes. Time limits are subject to change depending on how many individuals sign up to speak.

These in-person public hearings will be livestreamed and archived at www.legis.ga.gov.
