ATLANTA – The House Creative Arts & Entertainment Committee, chaired by State Representative Matt Dollar (R-Marietta), will hold a meeting TODAY, Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. in room 506 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta.
During the meeting, the committee will hear from leaders across several sectors of Georgia’s film industry. The committee will receive an update on current filming activity in the state, how the industry in Georgia has responded to the pandemic, as well as the industry’s immediate and longer-term outlook.
“I have received a number of exciting reports from across the state,” said Chairman Dollar. “The Film Tax Credit made Georgia a global leader before the pandemic, and it appears as though we are emerging even stronger as a result of our state’s successful response to COVID-19.”
