ATLANTA— House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) today announced the appointment of State Representative Jay Roberts (R-Ocilla) to the Jekyll Island State Park Authority Oversight Committee.
“I appreciate the confidence the Speaker has placed in me by appointing me to this position,” said Rep. Jay Roberts. “I look forward to working with the committee to make sure that Jekyll Island remains one of Georgia’s premier treasures.”
The Jekyll Island State Park Authority Oversight Committee is responsible for reviewing the authority’s annual financial position and ensuring the authority’s statutory duties and functions are accomplished successfully and in accordance with Georgia law.
