ATLANTA – The House Study Committee on Evaluating Funding for Public Health, chaired by State Representative Darlene Taylor (R-Thomasville), will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 10 a.m. in Room 606 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta.
Created by House Resolution 847, this study committee will study how Georgia’s public health system is structured and funded and evaluate what services such system currently provides to determine whether action by the state is necessary.
