House Study Committee on Evaluating Funding for Public Health to Hold Third Meeting in Gainesville

ATLANTA – The House Study Committee on Evaluating Funding for Public Health, chaired by State Representative Darlene Taylor (R-Thomasville), will hold its third meeting on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia.

Created by House Resolution 847, this study committee will study how Georgia’s public health system is structured and funded and evaluate what services such system currently provides to determine whether action by the state is necessary.
