House Study Committee on Navigable Streams and Related Matters to Hold First Meeting at State Capitol

ATLANTA – The House Study Committee on Navigable Streams and Related Matters, chaired by State Representative Lynn Smith (R-Newnan), will hold its first meeting on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 9 a.m. in room 506 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta.

This study committee will examine aspects of navigable streams in this state and the issues surrounding their ownership, private and public rights of use and other related matters and may make recommendations for proposed legislation ahead of the 2025 legislative session.
