ATLANTA – The House Study Committee on Private Water Systems, chaired by State Representative Trey Rhodes (R-Greensboro), will postpone its second meeting, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Information regarding a rescheduled meeting will be forthcoming.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted by Hurricane Helene,” said Chairman Rhodes. “Our focus right now is on helping Georgians recover from this devastating storm. We will postpone our upcoming committee meeting while we work with local authorities and communities to mitigate the effects that this disaster has had on so many citizens across our state.”

Representative Trey Rhodes represents the citizens of District 124, which includes Greene, Oglethorpe and Taliaferro counties, as well as portions of Clarke and Putnam counties. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2015 and currently serves as Chairman of the Game, Fish & Parks Committee and Secretary of the Ways & Means Committee.
