ATLANTA – State Representatives Lydia Glaize (D-Fairburn) and Dewey McClain (D-Lawrenceville) will host a press conference and community prostate cancer screening event to promote Prostate Day at the Capitol: Saving Men’s Lives. The press conference will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 12 – 1 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol, followed by the community prostate cancer screening event provided by Grady Health from 1 – 3 p.m. in room 216 of the Capitol.

Rep. Mike Cameron Celebrates Unanimous House Passage of Legislation to Allow Implementation of Newborn Safety Devices and Legislation to Update State Incest Law

ATLANTA – State Representative Mike Cameron (R-Rossville) celebrates the unanimous House passage of House Bills 350 and 57. Sponsored by Rep. Cameron, House Bill 350 would allow certain medical facilities to implement newborn safety devices, and House Bill 57 would add a step-grandparent and step-grandchild to state law regarding incest.
