ATLANTA – State Representative Floyd Griffin (D-Milledgeville) recently introduced House Bills 40 and 203, which would allow the Secretary of State to serve as chair of the State Election Board and include alumni of historically black colleges or universities (HBCUs) to serve on the Board of Regents.

Forsyth County House Delegation Adopts House Rules, Names Rep. Brent Cox as Chairman

ATLANTA – Members of the Forsyth House Delegation, including State Representative Brent Cox (R-Dawsonville), met on Monday, February 10, 2025, to adopt their House Rules for the 2025-2026 legislative term. Also, during the meeting, Rep. Cox was named Chairman of the delegation for the 2025-2026 legislative term.
