Rep. Carson Reports Traffic Fatalities Down Approximately 4.5 Percent in Georgia, Continues Work to Reduce Distracted Driving

ATLANTA – State Representative John Carson (R-Marietta) today announced that traffic fatalities in Georgia have decreased since the Georgia House first addressed distracted driving in 2017, as well as the passage of the Hands-Free law in 2018. Rep. Carson plans to pursue legislation during the 2021 legislative session to further reduce distracted driving in the state.

Rep. John LaHood Appointed to Majority Caucus Whip Team for 2021-2022 Legislative Term
