ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA), along with State Representatives Rhonda Burnough (D-Riverdale), Mike Glanton (D-Jonesboro), Kim Schofield (D-Atlanta), Sandra Scott (D-Rex) and Valencia Stovall (D-Forest Park), recently announced that Arts Clayton, Inc. was selected as a Cultural Facilities Grant recipient. ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) and House Minority Leader Robert Trammell (D-Luthersville) recently announced that the Meriwether Educational and Community Improvement Foundation, Inc. and the President Theatre were awarded Vibrant Communities Grant funding for special art projects The Meriwether Educational and Community Improvement Foundation, Inc., which was established through the Meriwether County Chamber of Commerce, was awarded approximately $4,500, and the President Theatre was awarded more than $4,800.
