ATLANTA – State Representative Gerald Greene (R-Cuthbert) today announced that Quitman County was awarded a $319,000 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loan and a $323,000 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) loan by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) board of directors. Rep. Paulette Rakestraw Hosts Road Dedication Ceremony for L. Douglas Griffith

ATLANTA – State Representative Paulette Rakestraw (R-Powder Springs) recently hosted a road dedication ceremony in honor of L. Douglas Griffith on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Speaker Ralston and House Rural Development Council Leadership Announce Creation of Center for Rural Prosperity and Innovation

ATLANTA – House Speaker David Ralston and the leadership of the House Rural Development Council (RDC) today announced the creation of the Center for Rural Prosperity and Innovation. The RDC is co-chaired by State Representatives Terry England (R-Auburn) and Jay Powell (R-Camilla). State Representative Sam Watson (R-Moultrie) serves as vice chair of the council.
