ATLANTA – State Representative Bill Hitchens (R-Rincon), Chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, and Representative Dave Belton (R-Buckhead), Chairman of the House Military Affairs Working Group, today commended the Georgia House of Representatives for passing a number of military friendly House bills and resolutions during the 2017 legislative session. ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives recently passed House Bill 506, co-sponsored by State Representative Meagan Hanson (R-Brookhaven). HB 506, which passed overwhelmingly by a vote of 164-2, would allow the MARTA board to consider bids for contracts for concessions through a responsible and competitive process. Rep. Cannon Sponsors Legislation to Serve as Department of Public Health Regulatory Guide
ATLANTA – State Representative Park Cannon (D-Atlanta) sponsored House Bill 454 during the 2017 legislative session, legislation which will serve as a regulatory guide to the Department of Public Health.
