ATLANTA – State Representative Darrel Ealum (D-Albany) was recently presented with the 2016 Charlotte Wilen Maternal & Infant Health Advocate of the Year Award by the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition (HMHB) of Georgia. Rep. Hilton’s Bill Supporting Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Passes House
ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives today unanimously passed House Bill 343, authored by State Representative Scott Hilton (R- Peachtree Corners). This bill would update outdated terminology in current Georgia criminal law by replacing the terms “mental retardation” and “mentally retarded” with “intellectual disability.” Continue reading “Rep.
