Rep. Glanton’s Educating Children of Military Families Act Passes House

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives today unanimously passed House Bill 148, the Educating Children of Military Families Act. Authored by State Representative Mike Glanton (D-Jonesboro), the bill would authorize the Department of Education to create unique identifiers for students whose parent or guardian is an active-duty military service member or reserve member of the National Guard. Rep. Scot Turner Recognizes Holly Springs Mayor and Police Chief at State Capitol

ATLANTA – State Representative Scot Turner (R-Holly Springs) today led the Georgia House of Representatives in recognizing and honoring retiring Holly Springs Mayor Tim Downing and retiring Holly Springs Police Chief Ken Ball on their retirements and years of service to their communities.
