ATLANTA — House Bill 99, introduced by state Representative Jason Spencer (R-Woodbine), received final passage in the Senate with support from an overwhelming majority on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, and will now go to the Governor for consideration. This bill would legalize home brew competitions in the state of Georgia.

Rep. Kirby Announces Introduction of the Georgia Fair Taxation Act of 2014
ATLANTA – State Representative Tom Kirby (R-Loganville) announced at a press conference today that he will introduce the Georgia Fair Taxation Act of 2014 on Thursday, March 28, 2013. This legislation would move Georgia to a “fair taxation” system by eliminating the state income tax completely.

Rep. Oliver Introduces School Board Legislation
ATLANTA — State Representatives Mary Margaret Oliver (D-Decatur), Mike Dudgeon (R-Johns Creek), and Howard Mosby (D-Atlanta) today announced the introduction of House Bill 669.
