ATLANTA – State Representative Mandi Ballinger (R-Canton) will host a town hall meeting for Cherokee County residents regarding Georgia’s redistricting and reapportionment process on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the historic Cherokee County Courthouse in Canton.
Rep. Ballinger serves as a member of the House Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment Committee and is eager to hear from the community. After participating in this committee’s recent redistricting town hall hearings across the state, Rep. Ballinger seeks to hear directly from Cherokee County residents. Other members of the Cherokee County Legislative Delegation have also been invited to participate.
This town hall is intended for the legislative delegation to hear directly from Cherokee County residents only, and as such, public comment will be limited to only those individuals who live in Cherokee County.
