ATLANTA – State Representative Carl Gilliard (D-Savannah), joined by members of the Gullah Geechee Heritage Society, will host Gullah Geechee Heritage Day in celebration of the adoption of House Resolution 625 TOMORROW, Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 12 p.m. in room 230 of the Georgia State Capitol.
Rep. Gilliard will be joined by members of the Gullah Geechee Heritage Society from Brunswick, Darrien and Savannah, Georgia, as well as residents from Liberty County, to discuss the adoption of HR 625 and give a brief presentation during a joint meeting of the Natural Resources & Environment Committee and the Special Committee on Resource Management.
