ATLANTA – State Representative Carl Gilliard (D-Savannah), in partnership with St. Leo University and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, will host part two of the Georgia Rental Assistance Program on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Leo University in Savannah.
The Georgia Rental Assistance Program provides up to 18 months of rental and utility assistance to Georgia renters who have fallen behind on rent payments since the start of the pandemic. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about continuing education at St. Leo University.
“This is a unique partnership to help give people a hand with their utilities and rent, as well as to give them a hand up to continue their education in partnership with St. Leo University,” said. Rep. Gilliard.
