ATLANTA – State Representative Doreen Carter (D-Lithonia) will participate in Conyers Middle School and the Parent Teacher Student Association’s 2023 Financial Literacy Symposium on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Conyers Middle School.
This free workshop is an opportunity for parents, teachers and students to learn more about investing in stocks, budgeting, business accounting and taxes, estate planning, investing in real estate, earning a debt-free degree, legacy and end of life planning, family law and legitimation and insurance coverage. Rep. Carter will serve as the opening session speaker at the workshop, and other speakers include Elizabeth Powell Rosner, also known as Dr. Roz, The Accounting Cure LLC CPA firm, and Caden Harris, a 13 year-old entrepreneur and CEO of Caden Teaches and Caden’s Financial Bus.
