ATLANTA— State Representative Edward Lindsey (R-Atlanta) today released the following statement regarding the “A+” rating he received from the Georgia Chamber of Commerce:
“Nothing is more important today than enacting policies to help create jobs, which pave the way to a stronger economy. These are the core intentions of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and why it is a great honor to receive an A+ rating on their legislative scorecard.
“The Georgia Chamber of Commerce’s legislative scorecard provides a broad perspective of the many facets of Georgia law that affect the health of businesses in our state. From allowing citizens more choices for health insurance to ensuring a highly educated work force, I am proud to support the measures that are crucial to helping create jobs for Georgians and improving our economy as a whole.”
Representative Edward Lindsey was elected by the Republican Caucus as their Majority Whip, the fourth highest ranking position in House leadership, on December 17, 2009.
