ATLANTA – State Representative El-Mahdi Holly (D-Stockbridge) will host the LOTS OF JOBS On the Lot Opportunity Fair and Career Expo on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Vystar Amphitheater at the Bridge in Stockbridge, Georgia.
“As a sitting member on our state House Committees on Labor & Industry and Small Business Development, I’ve seen the rapid growth in businesses flocking to Georgia,” said Rep. Holly. “So many of our local qualified, capable Georgians are waiting for the opportunity to show their grit and expand their career trajectory. I’m glad to partner with Goodwill of North Georgia, along with the City of Stockbridge and a wide range of community partners, to help bring these career opportunities home to our Southern Crescent region. We’ve got to empower the people.”
The event will feature more than 30 employers, including FedEx, Truist Bank, Henry County Schools, Griffin-Spalding Schools and other employers hiring for a variety of new careers. Lifeguide Healthcare will also be onsite conducting free health screenings for participants. Rev. Dr. Terrence Gattis of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Stockbridge will lead attendees in a community welcome and prayer.
