ATLANTA – State Representative Eric Bell (D-Jonesboro) will host the Georgia Cannabis and Hemp Advocacy Day TOMORROW, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at noon on the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
The event seeks to bring together legislators, community leaders, medical professionals, entrepreneurs and advocates to discuss the future of cannabis and hemp in Georgia. The event’s theme, “Out The T.R.A.P.,” also aims to highlight the barriers, including regulatory red tape, policies and economic challenges, to create a framework for cannabis access in Georgia.

These events will feature Big Bank Black, rapper and host of the Big Facts podcast; Erica “Eazy” Bell, moderator and MC; Evan “Eazy” Hall, master yoga instructor; Anthony “Young Marley” Reed, CEO of Sharklotta, Inc.; Sunday Jones, founder of Prison Brat Foundation; Pastor Terry Woodard, community leader and advocate; Shar Bates, community organizer and activist; Mychel “Snoop” Dillard, serial entrepreneur and business leader; Dr. April Hang, pharmacist and cannabis advocate; Dr. Rasean Hodge, physician and medical cannabis expert; Big Gipp (Goodie Mob), owner of Gipp Goodies; Dr. Roz McCarthy, founder of Minorities for Medical Marijuana; Corey Lowe, advocate with Peachtree NORML; Scotty Smart, community leader with the New Georgia Project; Chris Brown, policy advocate with CARE for Georgia and Michael “Coach” Harris, founder of the Georgia Hemp Association.
