ATLANTA – State Representative Erica Thomas (D-Austell), along with members of the Georgia Entertainment Caucus, will announce the nominees for the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame TODAY, Thursday, February 18, 2021, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Gathering Spot in Atlanta. At the event, the Georgia Entertainment Caucus will name its nominees for the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame, which will be installed on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in front of the Mercedes Benz Stadium this summer. The nomination event will feature a performance by Jac Ross, and the caucus will be joined by special guests, such as Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, Dallas Austin, Isaac Carree and Miss Lawrence.
To attend the event, all guests, including press, must show either a recent negative COVID-19 test from within the past 48 hours or proof of both doses of a COVID-19 vaccination. The event will also provide free COVID-19 testing today from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the parking lot of The Gathering Spot. To register for a free COVID-19 test today, please click here.
