ATLANTA – This week, the House Republican Caucus elected State Representative Ginny Ehrhart (R-Powder Springs) to serve a second term as Secretary and Treasurer of the House Majority Caucus for the 2025-2026 legislative term.
“I am thankful to House Speaker Jon Burns and my colleagues in the House Republican Caucus for once again entrusting me with the responsibility of serving as Majority Caucus Secretary and Treasurer,” said Rep. Ehrhart. “I am committed to remaining steadfast in advancing policies that reduce taxes, enhance the safety of our schools and communities and foster an environment where our economy can continue to grow and succeed. I look forward to working alongside my fellow caucus members as we continue to fight for the values and priorities of all Georgians.”
In this role, Rep. Ehrhart is responsible for overseeing all financial matters related to the Majority Caucus and ensuring accurate documentation of all caucus meetings.
Representative Ginny Ehrhart currently represents the citizens of District 36, which includes portions of Cobb County. She was elected to the House of Representatives in 2018 and currently serves as the Secretary and Treasurer of the House Majority Caucus. She also serves as Vice Chairman of the Information & Audits Committee and Secretary of the Regulated Industries Committee. She also serves on the Higher Education, Interstate Cooperation, Technology and Infrastructure and Transportation committees.
