Rep. Glanton Attends CSG Henry Toll Fellowship Program

ATLANTA – State Representative Mike Glanton (D-Jonesboro) recently attended the Council of State Governments (CSG) Henry Toll Fellowship Program in Lexington, Ky., from August 25 – 30, 2017. The Toll Fellowship Program is a national leadership development program for state government officials.

“It was a tremendous honor to be chosen by CSG as a member of the Henry Toll Fellows class of 2017,” said Rep. Glanton. “This valuable program afforded me the opportunity to enhance my leadership skills, build relationships and exchange ideas with elected officials from across the country. I look forward to taking what I learned from this experience as a tool to better serve my constituents and the State of Georgia.”

Rep. Glanton was selected by CSG as one of 48 members of the 2017 class of Henry Toll Fellows and is the only Georgia House member of this year’s class. To date, only 20 Georgia legislators have been selected to the program, with the first Georgian being selected in 1988.

Each year, Toll Fellows brings 48 of the nation’s top officials from all three branches of state government to Lexington, Ky., for an intensive six-day, five-night “leadership boot camp.” The program’s agenda includes a lineup of speakers and sessions designed to stimulate personal assessment and growth, while providing networking and relationship-building opportunities.
