Rep. Jasmine Clark to Host Virtual Town Hall Tomorrow on Monkeypox in Gwinnett County Public Schools

ATLANTA – State Representative Jasmine Clark (D-Lilburn) will host a virtual town hall on the impact of monkeypox in Gwinnett County Public Schools TOMORROW, Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 7 p.m. via Facebook Live and Zoom. Rep. Clark will be joined by Dr. Audrey Arona, district health director of the Georgia Department of Public Health for the Gwinnett, Newton, Rockdale (GNR) Health District.

“On Monday of this week, it was reported that there was a case of monkeypox in a Gwinnett County school, and close contact letters were sent home by the school,” said Rep. Clark. “This undoubtedly left the community with many questions. I am looking forward to hosting this event with Dr. Arona to discuss what this news means and answer questions that community members may have about the virus.”
