ATLANTA – State Representative Jeff Jones (R-Brunswick) recently spoke at the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce 2017 Grits and Issues Membership Breakfast. The event was held to discuss legislative issues facing the state and country and took place on Friday, December 15, 2017, at the Epworth by the Sea conference and retreat center on St. Simons Island.
“The Grits and Issues Membership Breakfast was a tremendous opportunity to discuss the current state of our community, as well as the challenges facing our state and region and upcoming legislative opportunities,” said Rep. Jones. “I greatly enjoyed meeting with my constituents to hear their thoughts and input, and it was an honor to speak alongside other elected officials who are working diligently to better Brunswick and the Golden Isles. Other guest speakers included Georgia Congressman Buddy Carter, Sen. William Ligon (R-Brunswick) and Rep. Don Hogan (R-St. Simons Island).

Representative Jeff Jones represents the citizens of District 167, which includes portions of Glynn, Long, and McIntosh counties. He was first elected into the House of Representatives in 2014, and currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Motor Vehicles Committee.
