ATLANTA – State Representative Micah Gravley (R-Douglasville) recently received an ‘A’ rating from the National Rifle Association of America. This grade serves as an evaluation of Rep. Gravley’s support of Second Amendment issues during his time in office.
“I am honored to be recognized by the NRA with this distinction, as I have always been a strong supporter of pro-second amendment rights,” said Rep. Gravley. “The second amendment is one of the founding principles upon which our country was built, and it is extremely important to me to protect the constitutional right to bear arms for all Georgians.”
Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America’s oldest civil rights and sportsmen’s group. More than five million members strong, the NRA strives to uphold the Second Amendment and advocates enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The NRA also provides firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the armed services.
