ATLANTA – State Representative Michelle Au (D-Johns Creek) will present House Bill 161, or the “Pediatric Health Safe Storage Act,” before the House Public Safety and Homeland Security 2-A Subcommittee on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 8 a.m. in room 506 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building in Atlanta.
Sponsored by Rep. Au, HB 161 would require anyone with a firearm that could be accessed by a minor to store that firearm securely. Rep. Au will be presenting the legislation and taking questions from the subcommittee members.
