ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Mickey Stephens (D-Savannah) to the Health & Human Services; Insurance; Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment; Regulated Industries; and Ways & Means committees.
“I am honored that Speaker Ralston and the Committee on Assignments have given me the opportunity to serve on such prestigious committees,” said Rep. Stephens.
The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
