ATLANTA – State Representative Mickey Stephens (D-Savannah) today released the following statement:
“My wife Gloria and I want to express our sincere gratitude to our family, friends and members of our community for their unwavering support and prayers over the last several months as we have navigated our way through an extremely difficult time. As many people know, I have been dealing with health issues this year, but at this time, I am pleased to report that I have since come a long way in my recovery. I am grateful for the outpouring of love that we have received, and continue to receive, and appreciate the time that I have had to heal.”
Representative Mickey Stephens represents the citizens of District 165, which includes portions of Chatham County. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2008 and currently serves on the Health & Human Services, Insurance, Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment, Regulated Industries and Ways & Means committees.
