ATLANTA – The House Republican Caucus re-elected State Representative Sam Teasley (R-Marietta) as the House Majority Caucus Vice-Chairman during caucus elections on Monday, November 14, 2016.
“My mission as Vice-Chairman of the caucus has been to live out humility, honesty and servant leadership,” said Majority Caucus Vice-Chairman, Rep. Teasley. “It is important to be motivated by service and not ambition, and it has been an encouragement to me that the House Majority Caucus is driven by service. I am thankful to my colleagues in the Republican Caucus for giving me the opportunity to continue to serve.”
In this position, Rep. Teasley will assist with member services and incumbent re-election, candidate recruitment, caucus fundraising, technology utilization and presiding over the Majority Caucus meetings in the absence of the chair.
This is Rep. Teasley’s fourth term in the Georgia House of Representatives and his third term as Majority Caucus Vice-Chairman.
Representative Sam Teasley represents the citizens of District 37, which includes portions of Cobb County. He was elected into the House of Representatives in 2010, and currently serves as the House Caucus Vice Chairman. He also serves on the Banks & Banking, Education, Ethics, Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications, and Insurance committees.
