ATLANTA – State Representative Sandra Scott (D-Rex), along with State Senator Gail Davenport (D-Jonesboro) and Mr. Sean Campbell, will deliver 200 N95 masks, gloves and gowns to the Lake City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, which is located within their districts.
“We want to thank all the doctors, nurses, cafeteria workers, janitorial staff, security guards, other essential staff and first responders for their hard work, dedication and long hours during this pandemic,” said Rep. Scott. “When Mr. Campbell reached out to us, I immediately thought about Lake City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Morrow, Georgia, and he did not hesitate to say, ‘yes’ and offer his help. We want to thank him for generously donating this personal protective equipment.”
The personal protective equipment was donated by Mr. Campbell, who is a personal injury attorney and managing partner at the Champion Law Group. Mr. Campbell contacted Rep. Scott and Sen. Davenport to learn how he can assist essential workers in House District 76 and Senate District 44.
Representative Sandra Scott represents the citizens of District 76, which includes portions of Clayton and Henry counties. She was first elected to the House Representatives in 2010 and currently serves on the Defense & Veterans Affairs, Human Relations & Aging, Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment, Science and Technology and Special Rules committees.
